First of all: Newgrounds, the DeviantArt of Flash cartoons, was never really “good”. I remember visiting it back in 2005/2006, where its slogan still was “The problems of the future, today!” and it was starting to get flooded with the crap you may know today. It had many great flashes, though, and I remember enjoying the video game parody flashes. Yep, that was my sense of humor that day.
Nowadays it’s just… I can’t describe it and I won’t. No. Let’s rather get to the topic in the topic title: The “Art” portal. A little DeviantArt inside of a big DeviantArt of moving pictures.
It was created in June 2009, and Rob, some random asshole, posted this picture that is completely ironic – ironic because the “Art” portal rather reminds me of the series of pictures in the second row:
To be more specific, the “Art” portal submissions largely consist of the following things:
1. Anime-esque drawings/Hentai
2. Furfaggotry
3. Pervertions of Nintendo characters
4. Horrible sketches
5. All of the above
And today I decided to pick some of the submissions and reconnoiter the horrible thing that the typical Newgrounds user calls “art”. Are you ready?

I’m not a master at perspectives, but I can honestly say this is kind of screwed up. Look at the robot to the left. He’s going to fall. I can’t believe that the nefarious genius known as Dr. Robotnik can’t manage to make his robots stand balanced. Can you figure out what the text on that basket-thingy says? I sure as hell don’t, and the original file is 1081×848 big. Drawing this was not a great plan.
Two surprisingly well-shaped female furries (with unsurprisingly protruding breasts) are going to have a sex orgy after playing some Water polo. What bothers me is that Hellknight1000 took so much effort in drawing the water drops on their skins but fucked up that vixen’s head. It is misshapen and the aslope hanging sunglasses don’t help at all. I think that tells much about Hellknight1000’s sexual preferences.
What a great piece of…. art. Jaredjoffe’s submissions to the “Art” portal only consist of guns and a stick figure having its brain blown out. We have a new Jeff Weise in the making.

Just like Hellknight1000, megawolf77 took a lot of effort in drawing this piece of furfaggotry, and this fact bothers me. He didn’t even screw up the head!

Also, sorry that my criticism may be a bit too “flat” to you, I’m not a professinal art critic, to be honest.

Apart from the furry pics and the gun, the others are either unscouted or deleted.
In fact, your opinion of “Pieces of shit that populate it” is unfounded since all you’ve done is gone out of your way to find the worst pictures possible, which you can do on any site.
A better comparison would be the front page of the art portal, with that of Deviantart.
Also, wow, your introduction just says “Newgrounds is shit” without going into details, and you dismiss Rob, an admin, as “some random asshole” shows you have no connection with the site, and are only ready to put it down.
