Specifically, those of you who are looking to pimp out your deviantART profiles, so you can start mingling with the “cool kids”. Today, I bring you my how-to guide on how to design a totally awesome** dA profile!

Well, fortunatly, i dont ’shit’ on my art. Art is expression, and everyone expresses it differnetly, whether good or bad in your eyes. Truly, the purpose of this site to to throw more crud at already cruddy artists. I beleive it would be much more helpful if it actually gave good advice on how artists can get better.
@The Meowing Fox: Don’t even joke about your art having any deeper meaning: All you draw are character portraits. You aren’t expressing a goddamn thing, other than your desire to have more pageviews. Come back when you understand what art actually is, and have some ready for us in your gallery. I’ll be more than happy to give you a proper critique then, because as it currently stands, all your gallery seems to be host to are half-hearted characitures.

The meaning behind these articles are truly lost to you isn’t it? There actually is a lot of advice here, it’s just not sugercoated. Most of it comes in the form of what not to be, and if you can’t see what’s wrong with these people, chances are there is something wrong with you. If someone just wanted to make you feel like shit, they would make a troll account, and tell you “you suck” in the comments. Do you really think people would waste their time designing a website and writing articles if it’s that’s all that it’s about?
Sure thing Habermann. I got quite a few for yah, but they are still works in progrss for the time being. My likings my just be in character portraits right now, but at least i ACTUALLY put time into them and use the ‘concepts of art’, like blending complimentary colors and all that jazz.
Its my STYLE – cartoon characitures, as you so call them. Im not much a realist, so you won’t be seeing many things like that from me. I’m an art student – still learning. Yeah, maybe im an arrogant kid that doesnt know anything, and maybe i could use a few lessons on how to be a better artist. But i’ll continue being myself and ill continue doing what i love, which is being my own artist.
But you are NOT an artist you simpleton!
